Description
  • A contemporary development of communication, radar and location equipment is escalating its demands on transmission velocity, accuracy of a location determination. The UWB technology perfectly matches all these requirements. The virtue of the UWB is represented by very simple architecture, based mainly on radiating and receiving of very short sub-nanosecond impulses. For designing of UWB circuits it is necessary to carry out the predictable model of the physical layer of UWB systems. The majority of models is aimed at narrow band signals. It is quite common that these models involve only a description of the behaviour of the carrier wave. The core part of the envisaged project is a basic research of a behaviour of the UWB signal in a physical layer (including its generation, radiation, propagation, receiving and eventually also its processing). The recommendations and methodology of the design of circuits for UWB devices are the partial goal. The verification of the aforementioned conclusions by means of measurement of manufactured samples of circuits represents key part as well. (en)
  • Cílem projektu je analýza chování impulzního signálu od jeho vygenerování až po jeho příjem, především však popis zkreslení impulzního signálu jeho vysíláním, šířením a příjmem. Dílčími cíly jsou pak doporučení a metodika návrhu obvodů UWB zařízení včetně ověření na realizovaných vzorcích obvodů.
