| Description
| - Předkládaný projekt si klade za cíl vytvořit školu doktorských studií na hranici ekonomických a politických věd, aplikující ekonomickou metodologii (teorie her, teorie veřejné volby, institucionální a konstituční ekonomie, matematické modelování a ekonometrie aj.) na analýzu politických procesů a trhů. Moderní politická ekonomie zdůrazňuje souvislosti mezi %22homo oeconomicus%22 a %22homo politicus%22 při studiích kolektivní a individuální racionality politického chování v komitétových systémech, správních radách a dalších institucích. Interdisciplinární charakter těchto studií přináší nové zajímavé výsledky a lepší porozumění paralel a odlišností mezi alokačními mechanizmy založenými na %22soukromé%22 a na %22veřejné%22 volbě. Tento směr ekonomického výzkumu není stále ještě plně rozvinut v českém ekonomickém myšlení a kolektivní úsilí mladých výzkumníků může vést k významnému pokroku v dané oblasti. - The project has an ambitíon to establish a school of doctoral studies in economics and political science oriented towards the application of economic methodology (such as game theory, the public choice theory, institutional and constítulional economy, hematical modelling and econometrics etc.) to analyses of political process and political markets. Conternpotary political economy underlines interfaces between %22homo oeconomicus%22 and %22homo politicus%22 in the study of collective and individual rationalityof political behaviour ín committee systems and boards. Interdisciplinary character of such studies has brought new interesting results and understanding of parallels and differences between allocative mechanisms based on %22private choice%22 and %22public choice%22. This direction of economic analysis is not yet well developed in Czech economic thinking and joint collective effort of young promising researches can lead to significant contribution in this field.
