Description	The immune system represents the basic mechanism maintaining the integrity of the organism, i.e. its health. Due to hereditary predisposition and the action of environmental factors, the regulatory mechanisms of the immune system can be disrupted, leading to the development of immunopathological disorders (allergies, autoimmune diseases, tumors). The continuing doctoral project aims at contributing to the elucidation of the trigger and effector mechanisms of these severe chronic diseases, with special reference to the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The advantage of the project is an intensive participation of doctoral students in an interdisciplinary cooperation between clinical establishments and laboratories of Charles University institutions (1st and 2nd Medical Faculties) and Academy of Sciences (Institute of Microbiology, Institute of Molecular Genetics). The continuation of common activities (seminars and exchange of doctoral students) will extend the methodological background of the students and enlarge their knowledge in individual disciplines. (en) Cílem doktorského projektu je přispět k objasnění patogenetických mechanismů některých imunopatologických stavů se zaměřením na vývoj nových diagnostických a terapeutických přístupů. Projekt umožní interdisciplinární spolupráci mezi fakultními klinickými pracovišti a akademickými ústavy.
