| Description
| - The project follows the previous successful doctoral grant 102/03/H086. It solves disadvantages of the current PhD studies including a fractionalism of the education, excessive specialisation in particular areas, insufficient sharing of well-equipped laboratories, insufficient communication and co-operation among students while they use the same techniques of modelling, simulation and optimisation. The aims are to modify the structure of education based on wide theoretical knowledge, efficient spending of time during studies, effective conjunction of both educational and research activities, support of extraordinary thinking and problem solving and making doctoral studies and science more attractive and popular. The aims will be fulfilled by (1) introduction of theoretical modular courses covering a major part of modelling and optimisation; (2) new types of seminars with an active participation of students supervised by the project leaders; (3) time optimisation of the studies; (4) activities in different laboratories and workplaces; (5) courses of presentation, speech training, communication skills, etc.; (6) support of individual research activities of the students. The project reflects the recent advances in the field of interest. (en)
- Podpora systematického a koordinovaného výzkumu doktorandů, zvýšení prestiže a kvality výstupů, prezentace na mezinárodním fóru. Změna forem výuky doktorandů vedoucí k zefektivnění vzdělávacíh procesů, integritu vědecko-výzkumné výchovy v oboru v rámci ČR a široké využití laboratoří a vybavení.
