Project is aimed at the study of the processes taking place under non-steady state conditions within highly loaded machine parts (bearings, gears and cams) to provide necessary information for the design of machine elements working under EHD lubrication regime. These non-steady conditions can results in increasing friction and wear of friction surfaces that significantly influence the durability and efficiency of machine elements. This project takes an advantage of the international cooperation between workgroups with up to date facilities for both experimental and theoretical research of concentrated contacts. Czech side will carry out the experimental part of the project while Korean partner will be oriented on the numerical solution. The use of colorimetric interferometry together with high speed camera will enable to analyze the processes of the lubricant film forming during the working cycle of machine elements. It will make possible to validate theoretical models developed by Korean partner that will help to improve the design of highly loaded machine parts and their efficiency. Project represents the extension of successfully solved project 101/05/0520. (en)
Cílem projektu je stanovení provozních podmínek způsobujících selhání mazacího filmu v kritických fázích provozu tj. při rozběhu a doběhu, náhlých změnách rychlosti a zatížení třecích povrchů.
