Description	The development of reproduction medicine brings great hopes to the patients. One of them is third-party reproduction (reproduction with the use of donor gametes). There is question of psycho-social and ethical connections of such procedures. Different rights can be identified: e.g. the parents’ right to privacy and autonomy, the donor’s right to privacy and the child’s right to know his or her origin. It is difficult to respect those rights at the same time. The legislation frames are different, which leads e.g. to cross-border reproductive care. Some countries pass to non-anonymous gamete donation – the so called open-identity, referring to the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Czech Republic allows donation of both gametes and embryos, which is anonymous at law. The goal of the research is to map the factors influencing the patients’ decision-making about the therapy under use of donated gametes, the experiences of the parents of children conceived from donated gametes and attitudes and motivations of gamete donors. No research on this topic has been performed in the Czech Republic yet. A part of the respondents will consist of foreign patients of Czech centres of assisted reproduction. (en) Rozvoj reprodukční medicíny přináší pacientům velké naděje. Jednou z nich je third-party reproduction (reprodukce s použitím darovaných gamet). Otázkou jsou psychosociální a etické souvislosti těchto postupů. Lze identifikovat různá práva: např. právo rodičů na soukromí a autonomii, právo dárce na soukromí a právo dítěte znát svůj původ. Je obtížné respektovat zároveň všechna tato práva. Legislativní rámce jsou různé, což vede např. k tzv. reprodukční turistice (cross border reproductive care). V některých zemích přecházejí k dárcovství gamet neanonymnímu - tzv. open- identity a odkazují se na Úmluvu o právech dítěte. V ČR je povoleno dárcovství gamet i embryí a ze zákona je stanoveno jako anonymní. Cílem výzkumu je zmapovat faktory ovlivňující rozhodování pacientů o léčbě s použitím darovaných gamet, zkušenosti rodičů dětí počatých z darovaných gamet a postoje a motivace dárců gamet. Výzkum na toto téma v ČR ještě proveden nebyl. Část respondentů budou tvořit zahraniční pacienti českých center asistované reprodukce.
