A comparative study of the specific terminology as well as syntactic and stylistic features of the Spanish and Czech economic and legal languages. In the terminological part will be examined the influence of the harmonisation of communitarian terminology of the formation of new denominations and phraseological units, taking-over of foreign words, especially anglicisms, eventually calques will be examined, and the current status of the Spanish terminology with the Czech one will be compared. A terminological database will be created and prepared the first Spanish-Czech and Czech-Spanish economic and legal dictionary. The analysis of selected official EU documents that have an equivalent in both the languages allows the comparison of lexical and stylistic means and the tracing of mutual influences in the enrichment of the EU terminology. The comparative study will be a contribution to the recent research of the terminology for special purposes and the technical style. (en)
