Description	This project is to resume the research grant GAČR 403/00/0319 from the years 2000 - 2002 called Regional Interests in the Ústi nad Labem Region and their Holders. The project is to acknowledge the social-economic development in the Ústi region in theperiod of the historically first time elected Regional Council in the years 2000 - 2004 and furthermore the policy making of the Ústi region and developing the partnership of the Usti region within the statistical unit so called NUTS II. The project willuse sdandard methods of empirical data collection and their analysis as well: documents, content analysis, survey, interviews, regional statistics. The result will cover the first stage of institution building on regional level and how contextual factorsinfluence the process. The results will be a feedback for central and regional administration, and political subjects as well. Educational tasks are focused on the specialisation development of regions and settlement of the tutorial programme called (en) Cílem předkládaného projektu, který navazuje na grant GAČR 403/00/0319, řešený v letech 2000-2002 pod názvem Regionální zájmy v Ústeckém kraji a jejich nositelé má být odpověd na otázku jaký byl socioekonomický rozvoj a regionální politika v Ústeckémkraji v období činnosti historicky prvně zvoleného zastupitelstva kraje v letech 2000-2004. Jak se vytvářela regionální politika Ústeckého kraje a jak se rozvíjela spolupráce Ústeckého kraje v rámci statistické jednotky NUTS II. Projekt využijestandardních metod sběru a analýzy dat: dokumenty, obsahovou analýzu, ankety, rozhovory, regionální statistiky. Výsledky postihnou první fáze procesu budování institucí, způsob, jakým jednotlivé faktory ovlivňují tento proces. Výsledky by měly býtzpětnou vazbou pro centrální a krajskou administrativu i politické subjekty kraje. Výukové cíle jsou orientovány na specializaci rozvoj regionů a sídel studijního programu ekonomika a management FSE UJEP Ústí nad Labem.
