| Description
| - The project is soriented toward a mutual interconnection of the preparative and a structural research of the compounds containing P, N, chalcogene and/or halogene atoms in their molecules. A special attention will be paid to the synthesis of four- and/orsix-membered heterocyclic compounds and to the study of their reactivity and structure. The aim is to find general methods of their preparation and to anticipate their behaviour and properties from the study of their structure and reactivity. The experi mental methods of a structure determination will be based upon X-ray structure analysis and vibrational, mass, and NMR spectroscopies. A theoretical structural research will benefit from university computing centre well equipped with powerful computers. A correlation of theoretical quantum-chemistry calculations with experimental results will be an important source of information for both preparative research and a qualified description of bonding in studied compounds. - Projekt je orientován na optimalizaci spojení preparativního a strukturního výzkumu sloučenin obsahujících v molekulách atomy P, N, chalkogen a/nebo halogen. Hlavní pozornost bude zaměřena na přípravu sloučenin obsahujících čtařčlenné a/nebo šestičlenné kruhy a studium jejich struktury a reaktivity. Cílem je nalézt obecně použitelné metody pro přípravu látek daného typu a studiem jejich struktury a vlastností umožnit predikci chování nově připravovaných sloučenin. Vedle rtg strukturní analýzy budou pro tento účel využívány metody vibrační, hmotnostní a NMR spektroskopie. Teoretický strukturní výzkum bude využívat superpočítačových center v ČR k výpočtům a optimalizaci modelových struktur a korelace získaných výsledků s experimentálními poznatky bude významným zdrojem informací pro řízení preparativní práce i pro fundovaný popis vazebných poměrů ve studovaných sloučeninách.
