Description	The proposal is a continuation of the projects which were awarded the GA CR grants 202/93/0503, 202/96/0206, 202/99/0261 and 202/02/0735 in previous years. It aims to support research in relativistic physics and astrophysics. The project follows the tradition of these areas in our country. It groups researchers who have been active in the field for many years, and also involves their students (supported from the related doctoral grant). It should enable them to maintain and further develop scientific contacts between each other, as well as collaborations with colleagues abroad. We plan to study fundamental theoretical problems of gravitation (e.g. radiative spacetimes), classical problems of general relativity (e.g. exact solutions of Einstein's equations, sources of stationary fields, conservation laws and gravitomagnetic effects), as well as astrophysical and cosmological applications (e.g. processes around black holes, in particular in active galactic nuclei, relativistic celestial (en) Návrh navazuje na projekty, jimž byly v minulých letech GA ČR přiděleny granty 202/93/0503, 202/96/0206, 202/99/0261 a 202/02/0735. Jeho cílem je podpora vědecké práce v oblasti relativistické fyziky a astrofyziky. Projekt vychází z tradice těchto oborů u nás. Zahrnuje pracovníky, kteří jsou v nich již řadu let aktivní, ale i jejich studenty (podporované z navazujícího grantu doktorského). Měl by přispět k udržení a dalšímu rozvoji jejich vzájemných odborných kontaktů, a také spolupráce se zahraničními kolegy. Plánujeme studovat základní teoretické problémy teorie gravitace (např. teorii zářivých prostoročasů), klasické problémy obecné relativity (např. přesná řešení Einsteinových rovnic, zdroje stacionárních polí, zákony zachování a gravitomagnetické efekty) i její astrofyzikální a kosmologické aplikace (např. procesy v okolí černých děr, speciálně v aktivních galaktických jádrech, problémy relativistické nebeské mechaniky, perturbace kosmologických modelů).
