Description	The project will bring new achievements in integral and stochastic geometry, stereology and spatial statistics. Recent results of translative integral geometry will be used to propose methods of estimation of the oriented direction distribution and ofintrinsic volumes of stationary random closed sets and point processes. Integral-geometric results on absolute curvature measures will be applied to obtain properties of stereological estimators of surface area. Further the extremes of geometricalparameters in particle systems will be studied. First time the MCMC (Markov Chain Monte Carlo) techniques will be developed in stereology. Stochastic simulations of random tessellations and of point processes on their boundaries will be examined and theresults will be included in the existing Internet database. The estimation procedures based on the incomplete information from the induced tessellation will be developed. Mathematical formulas derived in the Euclidean space are for practical purposes (en) Projekt vyústí v původní poznatky na rozhraní integrální a stochastické geometrie, stereologie a prostorové statistiky. Současné výsledky translativní integrální geometrie budou využity pro odhady orientovaného směrového rozložení a Minkowskéhofunkcionálů náhodných uzavřených množin a bodových procesů. Integrálně-geometrické vztahy pro absolutní míry křivosti budou využity k originálnímu popisu vlastnosti stereologických odhadů povrchu těles. Dále budou vyvíjeny odhady extrémů geometrickýchparametrů v systémech částic. Prvně budou rozvinuty postupy MCMC (Markov Chain Monte Carlo) ve stereologii. Součástí projektu jsou stochastické simulace náhodných teselací a bodových procesů na jejich hranicích. Zde budou získané výsledky zahrnuty doexistující databáze na Internetu. Budou odvozeny nové modely a metody odhadu parametrů teselace na základě neúplných informací z indukovaných teselací.
