Description	Principle of quotation (marked and unmarked), variation and repetition has been often named as one of the characteristics of the Arabic medieval literature. Existing corpora allow the study of this phenomenon in detail. The team has at its disposal corpora of modern and medieval Arabic texts (450 million words), which enable to retrieve relevant data for the project. Based on the methods of corpus linguistics, the goal is to explore quotations from each text in the rest of the collection and interpret the retrieved data from the linguistic and literary and cultural points of view and create a hierarchical picture of individual works and the linguistic shaping of the text. The procedures developed for the analyses will be used for the study of stylistic aspects of groups of texts, their inheritance and permeability. The analyses will comprise also the study of idioms in Arabic and their dynamics (rise, usage and decline). The acquired knowledge will be reflected by 3 monographs and other scientific outputs as well as publication of the procedures used and developed for the analyses. (en) V souvislosti s arabskou středověkou kulturou je zmiňován princip neznačených citací, variací a opakování jako jeden z konstitutivních prvků děl arabského písemnictví. Existující korpusy a metody korpusové lingvistiky umožňují tento fenomén detailně studovat. Náš tým má k dispozici rozsáhlé korpusy moderních i středověkých arabských textů (450 milionů slov), což představuje reprezentativní vzorek arabské literatury (kultury) pro daný projekt. Cílem je za použití postupů korpusové lingvistiky porovnat každé dílo se zbytkem korpusu, najít citace a získaná data interpretovat z lingvistického i literárně-kulturního pohledu a vytvořit hierarchii jednotlivých děl. Vyvinuté postupy budou použity ke studiu stylistických aspektů jednotlivých skupin textů, struktury dědičnosti v žánrech a jejich prostupnosti. Budou studovány též idiomy v arabštině včetně jejich dynamiky (vytváření idiomu, pole jeho působnosti, vytrácení se z užívání). Získané znalosti budou použity při přípravě 3 monografií a dalších vědeckých výstupů, včetně publikace procedur, vyvinutých pro analýzy.
