| Description
| - The inorganic binders assortment can be extended within the alternative cement free binders and composites bringing economical and ecological effects following from the comparison with common cements production. So called geopolymer systems are prepared by alkali activation of latent hydraulic materials, i.e. natural and firstly technogenic pozzolans which are products of high volume industrial technologies, especially iron metallurgy and energetics. Out of this category will be the object of research attention until now minimally utilized steel slag. According to chemical and phase composition of these secondary raw materials, type, quality and dose of alkali activators, hydration conditions, granulometry and fillers type is changing the phase composition, microstructure and following properties of developed geopolymer systems. With clarifying these connections can be headed to the products with programmed parameters (very high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature stability) for perspective applications under particular conditions. - Cílem je přispět k poznání geopolymerních pojiv na bázi technogenních pucolánů, ekonomicky a ekologicky konkurenčních systémů k portlandským cementům. Znalosti o souvislostech fázového složení, mikrostruktury a funkčních vlastností produktů jsou základem pro efektivní využití potenciálních surovin.
