| Description
| - Development of the traffic infrastructure and its technical condition relate directly to the development of the whole society. To achieve a uniform development of particular regions, a satisfactory transportation attainability throw high quality communications is necessary. But it is reality as well, that it is necessary to spend large amounts of financial sources for construction and repairs of traffic infrastructure. These sources are payed mostly from the public budget. mportant parts of the traffic infrastructure are bridges, which belong simultaneously among the parts the most demanding and most difficult. Bridge engineering is going through next continuous intensive development to fullfil new demands, rising up above all from the needs to shorter the construction time, to make easier and cheaper their management and maintenance. In this research project, theoretical analysis, experimental verification and monitoring of progressive bridge structures will be carried out. Results of this project help with an important way to improve design, construction, management and maintenance of bridge structures. By this, impacts to the environment and to the traffic at existing communications can be decreased. At the same time, it will be possible to make still easier and cheaper maintenance of bridges with keeping reasonable initial costs. (en)
- Cílem projektu je dokonalejší porozumění působení progresivních mostních konstrukcí, které se vyznačují kombinací materiálů, složitými postupy výstavby i snahou o eliminaci prvků s omezenou životností. Na základěřešení projektu budou sestavena doporučení vhodná k praktickému používání.
