| Description
| - The main aim of the project is a verification of potential of multichannel ground penetrating radar (GPR) as a non-destructive tool for detection of road and bridge defects. Project is focused on design and practical verification of test procedure for detection of voids under roadbase of rigid pavements (URC), detection of excessive amount of water in structural layers of pavements, determination of crack depth in road bituminous layers and detection of bridge defects. Design of an appropriate configuration of GPR for individual applications, measurement at prepared laboratory samples, measurement in LGTF (laboratory geotechnical testing field), measurements on road test sections, in situ measurements (roads, motorways and bridges) and optimization of evaluation method for four above mentioned applications of GPR will be realized as a part of the project. Proved test procedures could be applied in diagnostics of roads and bridges. It has direct connection to the maintenance planning and management. (en)
- Návrh a praktické ověření zkušebního postupu pro: detekci dutin pod krytem nevyztužených CB vozovek, detekci nadměrného obsahu vody v konstrukčních vrstvách vozovek, detekci a stanovení hloubky trhlin v krytu vozovky a detekci poruch mostních nosníků.
