The project objectives lie in three constituent parts linked consequently on each other. The first aims at survey and devise of methods (analytical and numerical) evaluating in exact way strain and stress parameters of a shell tunnel lining, next to the output comparison of the devised methods and to the assessment of their output correspondence. The second works out an calculation system based on devised methods. Appointment of calculation system is to enumerate strain, stress and plasticity attributes and traced the development of yielding of a shell tunnel lining built up from shotcrete (SC) and stiff steel truss section (SSTS). The finally part of project is a case study. There'll be investigated the prospective shell lining sections utilising worked up methods and calculation system. There'll be pursued dependences of the shell tunnel lining properties on both its section structure and its construction steps. The foremost attention will focus on ensued merits, e.g. to the impact of a shape, numbers and placement of SSTS in a lining section; to the development of a lining parameters in time with regard to the SC setting; to the constructions steps of lining section.
