Description	The research project focuses on the investigation of new biofuels, bioadditives and bio-cosolvents. It consists of two main topics. The first topic will deal with modification of current biofuels and with investigation of new biofuels. The main aim is to improve their quality and the economics of their production. The effects of addition of these biofuels on the standardized properties of conventional motor fuels will be determined in detail. New bio-cosolvents and bioadditives and the possibilities of their addition into the motor fuel pool will be studied as well. The other research topic will investigate the impact of the use of new and modified biofuels on the performance and emission characteristics of compression-ignition and spark-ignition engines. (en) Výzkumný projekt se zabývá výzkumem nových biopaliv, bioaditiv a biokosolvetů. Skládá se ze dvou tematických okruhů. V prvním okruhu bude řešena modifikace stávajících biopaliv a výzkum nových biopaliv s cílem zlepšit jejich kvalitu a ekonomiku jejich výroby. Studován bude vliv takto připravených biopaliv na palivářské vlastnosti pohonných hmot, do nichž budou přidávány. Zkoumány budou i nové biokosolventy a bioaditiva a možnosti jejich přídavku do klasických pohonných hmot. Ve druhém tematickém okruhu bude studován dopad používání nových a modifikovaných biopaliv na výkonnostní charakteristiky a emise vznětových a zážehových motorů.
