Description	The project should contribute to the advancement in the field of paint industry and provide a permanent prosperity and competitive strength in the European Union. The project will include formulations of antimicrobial coatings containing various nano particles and other additives along with the choice of suitable methods of their testing and also formulations of the paints drying through oxypolymerization reactions with the non-toxic additives and with lower VOC content. The formulations of new anticorrosive paints including high solids paints based on polysiloxane and waterborne paints based on hybrid polymers will be another part of the suggested project. Non-toxic pigments and fillers will be used. Modern intumescent fire protective coatings based on suitable binders, nanomaterials and special additives will be developed and tested. The project will be focused also on monitoring of the environmental legislative in the EU. (en) Projekt by měl přispět k rozvoji oboru nátěrových hmot a zajištění jeho trvalé prosperity a konkurence schopnosti v rámci EU. Projekt bude zahrnovat formulace antimikrobiálních NH obsahujících různé typy nanočástic a dalších aditiv spolu s výběrem vhodných metod hodnocení a také formulace oxypolymeračně zasychajících NH s novými netoxickými aditivy a s nižším obsahem těkavých organických látek. Další součástí projektu budou formulace antikorozních NH zahrnujících vysokosušinové NH na bázi polysiloxanů a vodou ředitelné NH na bázi hybridních pojiv. V těchto NH budou použity netoxické antikorozní pigmenty a plniva. Moderní zpěňovatelné NH zpomalující šíření plamene budou vyvinuty na bázi vhodných pojiv, nanomateriálů a dalších speciálních aditiv a hodnoceny. Projekt bude také zaměřen na sledování vývoje legislativy v rámci EU.
