Description	The main objective of the proposed project is preparation of tools for the licensing and project documentation assessment of new nuclear power generation III / III + on the basis of new international requirements which are relevant EU Member States. The project allows continuous updating of the priority directions of research in the field of safety of nuclear power and then systematical transfer of knowleges to computer codes for a complex analyses of transients and accidents. The project is also focused on research and development of analytical tools and methodologies for the preparation and implementation of medium-term development and renewal of the power plants of the power system taking into account the impact of the construction of new Generation III/III+ nuclear power plants. The project is focused also on the research of selected issues of Generation IV reactors and technical-economic analysis of the possibility of transition to a closed nuclear fuel cycle in the Czech Republic. (en) Hlavním cílem navrhovaného projektu je příprava nástrojů pro licencování a posuzování projektové dokumentace nové jaderné elektrárny generace III/III+ na základě nových mezinárodních požadavků relevantních pro členské země EU. Projekt umožňuje průběžnou aktualizaci prioritních směrů výzkumu v oblasti bezpečnosti jaderných elektráren a z něho vyplývající poznatky systematicky přenášet do výpočtových programů pro komplexní analýzy průběhu a následků havárií. Projekt je dále zaměřen na výzkum a vývoj analytických nástrojů a metodických postupů pro přípravu a realizaci střednědobého rozvoje a obnovy výrobní základny elektrizační soustavy ČR s uvážením vlivu výstavby nových jaderných elektráren generace III/III+. Součásti projektu je výzkum vybraných problematik reaktorů generace IV a technicko-ekonomické analýzy možností přechodu jaderné energetiky na uzavřený palivový cyklus v podmínkách ČR . Projekt lze využít pro podporu aktualizace a optimalizace Státní energetické koncepce.
