Description	The subject of the project algorithm is the development of the diagnostic kit complex on the basis of ELISA for lyme borreliosis laboratory diagnostics using highly specific recombinant antigens prepared from the pathogenic species of bacteria Borrelia incident on the area of the Czech republic. By thus, highly specific detection of borrelia infection, eliminating false results and not requiring any confirmation test, will be achieved. The availability of a species specific subtests allows targeted determination of the specific antibodies related to the clinical manifestation. The characteristic of the newly produced tests will be supported by an implementation of the clinical study of the relation between the test results and the clinical disease process. The goal of the project will be the creation of eight ELISA tests of the third generation that will abundantly be used in the clinical practice, making easy and improving diagnostics of lyme borreliosis. (en) Předmětem řešení projektu je vývoj komplexního souboru diagnostických souprav na bázi ELISA pro laboratorní diagnostiku lymeské boreliózy s využitím vysoce specifických rekombinantních antigenů připravených z patogenních kmenů Borrelia vyskytujících se na území ČR . Tím bude dosaženo vysoké specifity detekce boreliové infekce vylučující vznik falešných výsledků a nevyžadující konfirmační test. Vznik dílčích druhově specifických testů umožní cíleně stanovit specifické protilátky v závislosti na klinické manifestaci. Charakteristika nově vzniklých testů bude podpořena provedením klinické studie vztahu výsledků testů s klinickým průběhem onemocnění. Cílem řešení bude vznik celkem osmi ELISA testů III.generace, které budou hojně využívány v klinické praxi, usnadní a zlepší diagnostiku lymeské boreliózy.
