| Description
| - The project objective of PAPAVER center is to develop connections in interdisciplinary team paleoecologist , archaeologists and vegetation ecologists in the intention to create a space efficient for the study of climatic, cultural and landscape changes of vegetation and crops in a gradient from North Africa through Central Europe to the coldest region of the north . The purpose of the project is through internships , lectures , workshops , conferences , as well as everyday tools of communication to connect and coordinate key experts of international repute and provide the South Bohemian team dynamics and impulses for the development of cutting-edge research . The project will create a suitable environment for beginning researchers and PhD students by including them in clearly defined research structures ongoing research with an attractive theme. The project will support not only research university laboratory in the field archaeobotany and paleoecology in the Czech Republic, which thus allows to implement a series of activities leading to a deeper connection botany and archeology . - Cílem projektu centra PAPAVER je rozvinout vazby interdisciplinárního týmu paleoekologů, archeologů a vegetačních ekologů v záměru vytvořit efektivní prostor pro studium klimatických, kulturních a krajinných změn vegetace a užitkových rostlin v gradientu od severní Afriky přes střední Evropu až po nejchladnější oblasti severu. Smyslem projektu je formou stáží, odborných přednášek, workshopů, konferencí, ale i každodenních nástrojů komunikace propojit a koordinovat klíčové odborníky s mezinárodním renomé a poskytnout tak jihočeskému týmu dynamiku a impulzy pro rozvoj špičkového výzkumu. Projekt vytvoří vhodné prostředí pro začínající vědecké pracovníky a doktorandy tím, že je zahrne do jasně definovaných badatelských struktur probíhajících výzkumů s atraktivní tématikou. Projekt podpoří dosud jedinou výzkumnou univerzitní laboratoř v oboru archeobotanika a paleoekologie v České republice, které tak umožní realizovat řadu činností, vedoucích k hlubšímu propojení botaniky a archeologie.
