| Description
| - The subject of the research project is a theoretical and an empirical analysis of the transformation of the arts´ field, and a definiton of the Czech artistic and cultural potential with regard to the parameters defining the cultural industry. The project encompasses a study of the develoment of the arts since 1989 up to the present day. The emphasis will be given on the economic aspects of the arts and cultural institutions/networks transformation, on the shift in the structure and the proportion of the public and private sources in the field of arts and on the effectiveness of the legislative framework. Besides of arts´ mapping (production, distribution and presentation), the project focuses on research and production of tools designed for defining and monitoring the multiplication effects of arts as a highly important economic element in the sustainable development. The ouput of the project will contribute to a conceptual approach within the future innovation and formulation of cultural policy. (en)
- Předmětem výzkumného projektu je teoretická a empirická analýza proměny oblasti umění a definování českého uměleckého a kulturního potenciálu jako předpokladu a primárního zdroje kulturního průmyslu. Projekt zahrne studii vývoje oblasti umění od roku 1989 až po současnost se zvláštním zřetelem na ekonomické aspekty transformace uměleckých a kulturních institucí a kulturních sítí, proměny struktury a vzájemného podílu veřejných a soukromých zdrojů v oblasti živého umění i funkčnosti legislativního rámce.Vedle vytvoření mapy (produkce, distribuce, prezentace) umění ČR se projekt se zaměří na výzkum a tvorbu nástrojů pro sledování a definování multiplikačních efektů umění jako významného ekonomického faktoru udržitelného rozvoje společnosti. Výstupy proj ektu napomohou kompetentnímu přístupu k inovaci a formulování kulturní politiky.

| - First coherent research into the transformation of the Czech arts scene. It describes both the shared and specific trends and problems of development in each of the art disciplines and their economic and legislative framework. The results will be of help in drawing up strategic documents, legal regulations and methodologies for supporting arts at the national, regional and local levels. (en)
- První ucelený výzkum transformace české umělecké sféry. Zachycuje společné i specifické vývojové tendence a problémy jednotlivých uměleckých oborů a zároveň jejich ekonomického a legislativního rámce. Výsledky jsou využitelné při přípravě strategických dokumentů, právních norem a metodik pro podporu umění na úrovni státu, krajů i obcí. (cs)
