Description
  • The project is dedicated to fundamental study of magnetization dynamics in heterostructures formed by topological insulator (TI) and ferromagnet (FM). Using a broad range of experimental techniques available, including ultrafast laser spectroscopy, magneto-optical and Hall effect measurement, we will study the influence of surface state in TI on the magnetization in FM. The main aim is to investigate the effect of spin orbit torque in the structures that could lead to a fast non-thermal manipulation with magnetization at low energy dissipation.
