Description	The objectives of the research is to answer the following research questions: 1. How the process of political and economic transformation, along with sociodemographic and cultural changes, influenced the Czech and Polish schooling, education in selected regions and selected schools? What are the expectations raised upon schools in these regions? 2. What was the former and what is the current function of factors such as school status and reproduction of the wearer changes in selected regions? And what functions have been and are shaped? 3. How schools respond to the political (educational reform), economic pressure, demographic change, social inequality, changes in values, multiculturalism, civilizational response to threats (natural disasters ...) etc., in the concept of education in response to the situation in the region? 4. What are the similarities and differences between the CR and Poland in the above-mentioned and their possible causes in the selected regions? (en) Cíli výzkumu je zodpovědět následující výzkumné otázky: 1. Jak proces politické a ekonomické transformace spolu se sociodemografickými a kulturními změnami ovlivnil české a polské školství, vzdělávání ve vybraných regionech a vybraných školách? Jaká jsou očekávání od škol v daných regionech? 2. Jaká byla a je funkce školy jako činitele reprodukce stavu a nositele změn ve vybraných regionech? A jak funkce byly a jsou formovány? 3. Jak školy reagují na politické (edukační reformy), ekonomické tlaky, demografické změny, sociální nerovnosti, změny hodnot, multikulturalismus, reakce na civilizační ohrožení (živelné pohromy...), atd. v pojetí výchovy a vzdělávání v reakci na situaci v regionu? 4. Jaké jsou shody a rozdíly mezi Českou republikou a Polskem ve výše zmíněném a jejich možné příčiny v rámci zvolených regionů?
