| - The project focuses on the fundamental research and experimental verification of a biological method for targeted therapy of oncogenous diseases, based on the results of three hitherto separate activities: a) enhanced effectiveness of therapeutics in the treatment of human solid malignities, b) the discovery of selective inhibitory effect of the field of so-called pulse vector magnetic potential (PVMP) on cell metabolism of oncogenously transformed cells, c) monitoring the interaction between tumorous cells and the cells of the immunity system, and its effect on the progression and regression of tumours in animal models. The goal of the project is to find effective procedures of selective and non-invasive treatment of tumours by combining a new field of force that exhibits biophysical effects with therapeutic substances, and to test them on animal tumour models and thus obtain a data base for the research and development of therapeutic (and also diagnostic) technologies that can be used in clinical o (en)

| - Implementation of the project was based on the approved plan. The results can be seen both in the development of pulse generators of magnetic field for cancer therapy and in testing biological effects of these generators. Many original findings, which were reflected in the design of functional samples, were achieved.However, the hypothesis about the use of pulsed magnetic fields was not confirmed. (en)
- Realizace projektu vycházela ze schváleného plánu. Výsledky lze spatřovat jednak v oblasti vývoje přístrojů, generátorů impulsního magnetického pole pro onkologickou terapii, jednak v oblasti testování biologických účinků použití těchto generátorů. Vzniklo množství původních poznatků, které se promítly v konstrukci 32 funkčních vzorků.Hypotéza o využití IVPM ke zlepšení terapie se ale nepotvrdila. (cs)
