Description	The proposed project aims to design, construction and testing of two target systems for production of the non-conventional, longer-lived positron emitters Y-86 (T1/2 = 14.7 h) and I-124 (T1/2 = 4.18 d) on the cyclotron U-120M at Nuclear Physics Instituteof the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Řež near Prague. These two radionuclides are very promising tools for imaging of the metabolic and physiologic processes with slower kinetic via positron emission tomography (PET), such as biodistribution of pharmaceuticals incl. radiotherapeutics, since the half-lives of the routinely used PET emitters are too short for these purposes (< 2 h). The further aim of the project is the use of the produced radionuclides for the labelling studies of thechosen classes of prospective carriers, e.g. polymeric drug delivery systems, monoclonal antibodies, aminonucleosides and chelator-conjugated-peptides. (en) Náplní navrhovaného projektu je návrh, konstrukce a testování dvou terčových systémů pro přípravu nekonvenčních positronových zářičů s delším poločasem rozpadu, totiž yttria Y-86 (T1/2 = 14,7 h) a jodu I-124 (T1/2 = 4,18 d) na cyklotronu U-120M v Ústavujaderné fyziky AV ČR. Tyto dva radionuklidy představují slibný prostředek k zobrazení metabolických a fyziologických procesů s pomalejší kinetikou pomocí positronové emisní tomografie (PET), jako je např. sledování biodistribucí některých léčiv včetně radioterapeutik, což poločasy PET zářičů rutinně používaných v nukleární medicíně (< 2 h) neumožňují. Projekt bude dále zaměřen na studium značení zvolených tříd perspektivních nosičů (polymerních %22drug delivery%22 systémů, monoklonálních protilátek, aminonukleosidů a peptidů konjugovaných s chelatačními činidly) těmito radionuklidy.
