Description	The project solves the use of laser welding for the production of transportation vehicles. In comparison with arc welding the laser welds differ e.g. in the intensity and distribution of residual stresses. Therefore the problems of these stresses, fatigue strength and operational reliability will be studied. Specifically the use of 3,5 kW power laser with fiber optics for welding sheets made from steel and high strength materials with or without additional material at a robotized workplace. (en) Projekt řeší uplatnění laserového svařování ve výrobě dopravních prostředků. Ve srovnání s obloukovým svařováním mají laserové svary odlišné vlastnosti, např. velikost a rozložení vnitřních pnutí. Bude proto studovat problematiku zbytkových napětí, únavovou pevnost a provozní spolehlivost svarů. Konkrétně jde o použití laseru o výkonu 3,5 kW s vláknovou optikou ke svařování plechů z oceli a vysokopevnostních materiálů do tloušťky 20 mm bez a s přídavným materiálem na robotizovaném pracovišti.
