Description	This project is focused on the research and development of new advanced tool steel and processes with increased combinatin of properties - wear resistance, failure resistance and resistance to thermal fatigue cracks. In the frame of this project new advanced melting processes, casting and ingots forging will be developed followed by top microstructure parameters and mechanical properties. The subject of this project also involved new heat treatment technologies incl. surface treatment. (en) Cílem projektu je vyvinout novou progresivní nástrojovou ocel za tepla vč. zpracování s podstatně vyšší úrovní kombinace vlastností, zejména odolnosti proti opotřebení, odolnosti proti lomu a odolnosti proti tvorbě trhlinek tepelné únavy. V rámci navrhovaného projektu budou pro nový typ NO vyvinuty pokročilé způsoby řízení tavby, odlévání a překování ingotu tak, aby byly dosaženy špičkové mikrostrukturní parametry a mechanické vlastnosti. Předmětem výzkumu budou dále nové postupy TZ a PÚ. (cs)
