Na základě nových poznatků o vývojových stádiích parazitických hlístic ovcí inovovat systémy prevence šíření těchto parazitů v chovech s různým managementem. (cs)
One of the current problems in sheep breeding is the extensive occurence of various parasites, primarily nematodes, which seriously threatens the health of the animals and limits profits in meat, wool and even breeding animals. The aim of this project is to create a preventative system dependent on breeding management, which could substantially suppress the parasites. This in turn would improve the overall health of sheep herds in the Czech Republic. The final phase of the project will be the methodology of suppression and prevention of endoparasitic nematodes dependent on breeding management. The project combines the findings of basic and applied research with the needs of the breeder. In order for the preventive system to be effective, it is important, with the help of modern methods, to initially aquire the findings of the biologically most important epidemiological effects, which can influence the occurence of parasites. On the basis of these findings, an appropriate preventative system will later (en)
