| - Determinace základního spektra patogenů r. Phytophthora na významných listnatých dřevinách ČR, vypracování klíče, určení základních hostitelských preferencí a významu, popsání symptomů chorob, které způsobují a vypracování přehledu ochranných opatření. (cs)
- Many species of the genus Phytophthora are dangerous necrotrophic pathogens of trees. However, Phytophthoras are one of the least known groups of pathogens of trees in the Czech Republic. This situation is documented by the fact, that the first occurence of phytophthora decline of mature trees in the Czech Republic verified by isolation of pathogen was found in 2001. The proposed project is aimed at study of essential species spectrum of phytophthoras on economically important broadleaved trees in the Czech Republic (oak, beech, lime, alder, maple, ash). During the course of project we will acquire the phytophthora isolates from necrotised tissues (roots, bark, conductive tissues) of declining trees and we will determine them by morphological, cultural and molecular methods. We will elaborate the diagnostic key for the determined species. We will test the pathogenic potential and confirm the essential host spectrum of selected strains.
