| Description
| - The research project objective is specified with the following particular tasks into: - methods for validating fire patterns and localising the point of origin of fires, - methods of sample collection, - test methods for identifying accelerants and toxicants, - test methods for determining the fire technical characteristics of combustible materials, - the laboratory methods/equipment for investigating the effect of the environment on the characteristic features of electrical short circuits, - laboratory methods for identifying the technical faults in selected electrical equipments, - methods/equipment for assesing the danger of generation , accumulation and discharge of electrostatic charge, - methods for assesing the destructive effects of fires on people, property and the environment, - the systematic creation of the databases for fire investigation on the basis of laboratory determinations and of programmes for training and certification of fire investigators. - Cíl výzkumného projektu je specifikován následujícími dílčími úkoly: - metody validace popožárních znaků a lokalizace ohniska požárů, - metody odběru vzorků, - laboratorní metody pro identifikaci akcelerantů a toxikantů, -zkušební metody pro stanovení požárně technických charakteristik hořlavých materiálů, - laboratorní metody pro zjišťování účinků prostředí na charakteristické znaky elektrických zkratů, - laboratorní metody/ zařízení pro identifikaci technických závad na vybraných elektrických zařízeních, - metody/zařízení pro posuzování nebezpečí tvorby, hromadění a výboje elektrostatických nábojů, - metody posuzování škodlivých účinků požáru na osoby, majetek a životní prostředí, - systematická tvorba databází pro zjišťování příčin požáru na základě laboratorních stanovení a programů výcviku a certifikace zjišťovatelů příčin požárů.
