| Description
| - Trnka Laboratory combines the research potential of the Czech Technical University in Prague - Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Institute of Information Theory and Automation, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, in the field of Automatic Control. The Laboratory aims to become a center of excellence in this field and establish contacts with similar centers worldwide. The research in the Laboratory focuses on the following topics: system modelling, optimal control, robust control, numerical algorithms and software, and real-time control. The synergy in these research directions will result in a broad spectrum of theoretical and applied achievements. The links of the research to education will facilitate the integration of the Laboratory into the University structures. (en)
- Vznik Trnkovy laboratoře umožní spojit výzkumný potenciál Fakulty elektrotechnické ČVUT a Ústavu teorie informace a automatizace AV ČR v oboru Automatické řízení. Laboratoř si klade za cíl zařadit se mezi přední pracoviště oboru a vybudovat pracovní kontkty s významnými centry světového výzkumu. Výzkum v laboratoři pokryje nejdůležitější současné směry rozvoje oboru: modelování systémů, optimální řízení, robustní řízení, algoritmy a software a řízení v reálném čase. Návaznost a organická propojenost jedotlivých směrů přinese široké spektrum výsledků badatelského i cíleného výzkumu. Těsná návaznost výzkumu na výuku usnadní integraci laboratoře v rámci fakulty i školy. (cs)
