  • In the NoE FlexNet 17 participants from eleven European countries work together in order to support Europe in becoming a world leader in Flexible, Organic and Large Area Electronics (FOLAE). NoE FlexNet - Network of Excellence for building up Knowledge for improved Systems Integration for Flexible organic and Large Area Electronics (FOLAE) and its exploitation. The Network of Excellence (NoE) FlexNet aims to establish Europe in the area of Flexible, Organic and Large Area Electronics (FOLAE) as the world leader in science, technology development and subsequent commercial exploitation of printing and large area technologies for heterointegration of flexible electronics. The scientific focus of the NoE’s partners is on application of materials and the interaction with manufacturing processes. The main R&D aims are: Co-development of materials, processes and devices, improving material-interfaces understanding, the exploitation of the use of multifunctional materials, Simplification of Processes.
