The project deals with the development of catalysts based on mixed metal oxides suitable for the catalytic combustion of volatile organic compounds. These oxidizing catalysts are prepared by the thermal decomposition of the synthetic hydrotalcite-like compounds. The project comprises the synthesis of hydrotalcite-like compounds (precursors) with various chemical composition, the process of catalyst preparation from precursors, and measurement of activity of prepared catalysts in total oxidation of volatile organic compounds. The synthesis of precursors, catalyst preparation, and catalytic activity measurements will be carried out in laboratory and pilot plant scale. The aim of the project is the preparation of metal oxide catalysts capable to replace the Pt/Pd catalysts used in combustion processes. The project involves also the building up of the pilot plant. Projekt se zabývá vývojem katalyzátorů na bázi kovových oxidů, které budou využitelné při spalování organických látek. Oxidické katalyzátory se připravují tepelným rozkladem syntetických sloučenin typu hydrotalcitu. Projekt zahrnuje syntézu hydrotalcitů (cs)
