| Description
| - In connection with the restructuring of the public administration and the Czech Republic joining the EU a lot of institutions dealing with regional development have been established in the Czech Republic. In this regard regional development agencies havealso become significant players. They came into being in 1990´s, before regional governances were established. Over the past years (after the year 2000) the roles and positions of the regional development agencies have been changing in regard with the activities of individual regions in the field of their development. The objectives, tasks, regional competences, organisation structures and legal titles vary in the individual regions of the Czech Republic. - V České republice došlo v souvislosti s reformou veřejné správy a se vstupem ČR do EU k vytvoření celé řady institucí, zabývajících se regionálním rozvojem. Významným akrétem regionálního rozvoje se v této souvislosti staly také regionální rozvojové agentury. Vznikly během 90. let před ustanovením krajských samospráv. V posledních letech (po r. 2000) se ale v souvislosti s působením krajů v oblasti regionálního rozvoje role a postavení regionálních rozvojových agentur mění. Cíle a úkoly, územní působnost, jakož i organizační struktura a právní forma regionálních rozvojových agentur je v krajích ČR různá. Cílem projektu je na základě zahraničních zkušeností, analýzy vývoje a současné pozice RRA v ČR a diskusí se zástupci krajských samospráv, ministerstva pro místní rozvoj a dalších zainteresovaných institucí navrhnout určitý model (režim) budoucího fungování RRA v ČR.
