Description	About 2000 species of exotic birds in 8000 specimens are situated in museums and another collections in Moravia and Silesia. The first collections originated in the sixties of the 19 century. Their gathering is the result of the work of several tens of collectors. Location and date of collection are known in more than two thirds of cases. A part of the exotic birds in the collections belongs to worldwide crirically endangered, endangered and vulnerable species and today, it is impossible to gain them. This set represents comprehensive, valuable and faunisticaly important collection and thus an almost inexhaustible potential foe systematic scientific and filing work with collections. Goal of the project is publishing of the whole Moravian and Silesian set of exotic birds in the form of a cataloque thus making it accessible for resarchers, zoologist, natural historians etc. for futher professional processing. That represents overview and revision of all the individuals in the whole mentioned collection (en) V muzeích a dalších sbírkách na Moravě a ve Slezsku je uloženo přibližně 2000 druhů cizokrajných ptáků v 8000 exemplářích. První sbírky pocházejí ze šedesátých let 19. století a jejich shromáždění je výsledkem práce několika desítek sběratelů. U více než dvou třetin z nich je známa lokalita a datum sběru. Část cizokrajných ptáků ve sbírkách je řazena celosvětově ke kriticky ohroženým, ohroženým a zranitelným druhům a jejich získání je dnes nemožné. Tento soubor představuje obsáhlou, hodnotnou a faunisticky významnou kolekci, která prezentuje téměř nevyčerpatelný potenciál pro systematickou vědeckou a evidenční práci se sbírkami a lze ji využít k didaktickým, expozičním, demonstračním a studijním účelům. Cílem projektu je publikování celého moravskoslezského souboru cizokrajných ptáků formou katalogu a tak ho zpřístupnit badatelům, zoologům, vlastivědným pracovníkům apod. pro další odborné zpracování. To představuje přehlédnutí a revizi všech jedinců celé zmíněné kolekce. (cs)
