Description	The research will be realizated in the sand-pits in Václavice in the surroundings of the town Hrádek n/N., in Horní Řasnice in the surroundings of the town Frýdlant and in the basalt-pit in Heřmanice in the surroundings of the town Frýdlant. There are artificial biotopes settled by animal species after exploitation, which were not occured primarly in this region. Purposes of the projekt are: realization of the completely vertebratology research and entomology research with a view to beetles (Coleoptera). We would like to acquirment of the foundamentaly knowleges for monitoring changes of the animals diversity in the dependence on changes these biotopes in the next years (recultivation, grow over with vegetation, new initiation of the exploitation). (en) Výzkum bude soustředěn na pískovny ve Václavicích na Hrádecku, v Horní Řasnici na Frýdlantsku a v čedičovém lomu v Heřmanicích na Frýdlantsku. Jedná se o uměle vytvořené biotopy, které po ukončení těžby osídlují druhy živočichů původně se v daném regionu nevyskytující. Cílem projektu je: provést kompletní vertebratologický průzkum, provést kompletní entomologický průzkum řádu Coleoptera, vytvořit základ pro sledování změn druhového složení v důsledku přeměn samotných lokalit (rekultivace, zarůstání, obnovení těžby).
