| - Cílem předloženého komplexního projektu je soustředit špičkové bohemisty ze všech literárněvědných pracovišť České republiky k dvojjedinému úkolu: k rozsáhlému analytickému materiálovému průzkumu české poválečné literatury a především k napsání knihy Dějiny české literatury po roce 1945. Podrobné ´velké´ dějiny by měly poprvé postihnout proměny české literatury a literárního života ve všech druzích a větvích (oficiální, samizdatové a exilové), jakož i přihlédnout ke kontaktům literatury české a slovenské a k literaturám národnostních menšin (polské, židovské, rómské). Potřeba takovýchto dějin je dána skutečností, že literatura poválečné období - donedávna pociťovaná a pojmenované jako literatura ´současná´ - zůstávala doposud stranou systematického literárněhistorického výzkumu a naprostá většina dosavadních, převážně literárně kritických pokusů o její zmapování byla vystavena ideologickému tlaku a autocenzuře. - The aim of the project is to concentrate effort of the specialists in the post-war literary history from universities and institutes to realize a complex research of the Czech postwar literature. The result of the project is, first all, to compile in s from of extensive book (more than 1500pp). The History of Czech Literature After 1945. The necessiry of this type of book for the first time interpreting the evolution of the Czech literature in all tree its ´branches´ (the ´official´, exile and samizdatone) is dictated by the specific sitnation of the research in this ficld. The post-war literature stayed outside any systematic historical research and the most part of the hitherto existing attempts at summarizing partial aspects of the post-war literature were exposed to a permanent ideological pressure.
