| Description
| - V souvislosti s transformací hlubinného uhelného hornictví v ČR je uzavírána celá řada ekonomicky neefektivních dolů. Kromě jiných důsledků se tento útlum projevuje zejména v nekontrolovaném úniku metanu z uzavřených dolů. To má značný negativní vliv jakna bezpečnost lidí v postižených oblastech, tak i na ekologii nejenom těchto oblastí, ale i v globálním měřítku. V ČR je postižena celá hustě zasídlena ostravská aglomerace, kde byla ukončena hornická činnost a všechny doly uzavřeny. Základním cílem projektu je snížit možnosti nekontrolovaného úniku metanu z uzavřených dolů a rozvíjet možnosti jeho využití. Vyřešení tohoto základního cíle představuje postupné řešení celé řady dílčích problémů, protože problematikou se zatím u nás i ve světě nikdo systematicky a komplexně nezabýval. V průběhu řešení budou ověřeny nové technické prostředky, které budou tvořit základ navrženého projektu. (cs)
- An entire series of economically inefficient mines were closed in connection with the transformation of deep i coal mining. In addition to other consequences from this reduction there was discovered in particular the ,uncontrolled escape of methane gas from closed mines. It has had a significant negative influence on the ! safety of people in affected areas, and on the ecology of not only these areas but on a global scale, as well. , In the Czech Republic the densely populated Ostrava agglomeration is located; mining activity has stopped there and all mines have been closed. The basic goal of the project is to reduce the uncontrolled release of methane from closed mines, and to develop possibilities for its use. In working out this basic goal a gradual solution to a whole series of partial problems has been presented because noone has systematically and completely dealt with them in our country and in the world as well.
