| Description
| - Projekt je zaměřen na studium úlohy politických aktérů v decentralizačních procesech, k nimž dochází po roce 1945 v unitárních zemích západní Evropy a které - na rozdíl od nejnovějšího vývoje v zemích střední a východní Evropy - nekončí destrukcí státníccelků (především Velká Británie, Španělsko, Belgie, Francie, Nizozemí, Itálie). Cílem je ověřit hypotézy o roli politického centra a regionálních politických zájmů v daných decentralizačních procesech a motivy vedoucí k posílení místní správy (regionů čiautonomních územně definovaných celků) V centru komparativní analýzy stojí zhodnocení významu politologických teorií kladoucích důraz na modely vztahu centra a periferie, teorii modernizace a mobilizace elit s přihlédnutím k problematice studia národně motivovaných konfliktů a jejich řešení cestou hledáni konsensuálních modelů řešení těchto konfliktů. Pozornost bude rovněž soustředěna na zhodnocení úlohy lokálních politických elit při prosazování zájmů regionu, respektive jejich definování s ohledem na (cs)
- The project focuses on the study of the role of political agents in decentralization processes, which occurred after 1945 in the unitary countries of Western Europe and which - unlike the latest development in Central and Eastern Europe - did not end in the destruction of the state (esp. Great Britain, Spain, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Italy). Our aim is a verification of the hypotheses on the role of the political centre and regional political interests in decentralization, and the motifs leadinto the strengthening of local administration (regions or autonomous, well-defined territories) In the centre of the comparative analysis is the evaluation of the importance of politological theories stressing the models of the relation between the centreand the periphery, the theory of modernization and mobilization of elites, with consideration of conflicts with national motivation and their solution with consensual models.
