Description	The project is focused on the problems of immigrants and their status in the Czech society. The aims are /i/ to analyze the role of élites, which are beeing formed as part of immigrant groups and /ii/ state and define the role of institutions, which are being developed by immigrants in the CR while development, maintenance and revitalisation of their own communities and groups. We will focus mainly on the question of the influence of activities carried out by élites on integration of immigrant groups inthe Czech society or on their intentional effort to be isolated. The research will show what kind of relations and also various kinds of institutions (formal and informal, custom and law-based) are being developed by individual immigrant groups in the CR. The project will focus on analysis of inner context of reasons of coming to CR, the vision of the future of immigrants, their social structure and cultural basis on one hand and attitudes of élites on the other hand. That is why the project is (en) Projekt se zaměřuje na problematiku imigrantů a jejich místa ve společnosti ČR. Klade si za cíl /i/ analyzovat roli elit, které se formují v řadách příchozích a /ii/ vymezit a definovat úlohu institucí, které si tito imigranti na území ČR budují při konstituování, udržování a revitalizaci vlastních komunit a skupin. Do centra pozornosti se dostane otázka vlivu činnosti elit a intitucí na integraci skupin imigrantů do společnosti ČR či na jejich záměrnou snahu izolovat se. Výzkum ukáže, jaké vztahovésítě a tedy i různé typy institucí (formálních i neformálních, zvykových i právně ukotvených), si jednotlivé skupiny imigrantů na území České republiky vytvářejí. Projekt se tedy soustředí na analýzu vnitřních souvislostí mezi motivy imigrace do ČR, vizíbudoucnosti imigrantů, jejich sociální strukturou a kulturními východisky na straně jedné a postoji elit na straně druhé. Z tohoto důvodu se projekt zaměřuje na výzkum skupin imigrantů, které právě z hlediska motivu příchodu, vize budoucnosti, výchozí (cs)
