The project analyzes the efficiency of selection of economic theories describing tle workings of processes of economic transition and its relationship to the conducted institutional transition (on micro- and macro-level). It deals with determinants of the political process outcomes. Moreover, it intends to clarify, if and to what extent is the selection pulled by the demand of political sphere and what impact this demand exerts on the way how the selection process is conducted. Shortly, the goal of the project can be condensed into the study of the relationship theories - politics - public opinion of transition processes. The raison d'etre of the project can be found in the profound analysis of this interconnection and evaluation of its empirical relevancy; in examination of the efficiency of market (spontaneous) coordination and identification of its limits; in developing a complex theoretical framework for analyzing transition processes and in investigating of public opinion of professional (en)
Projekt zkoumá efektivnost volby ekonomických teorií popisujících fungování transformačních procesů a jejich vztah k prováděné institucionální transformaci na makro- i mikro-úrovni. Zabývá se odhalováním toho, zda, případně do jaké míry, je zmíněbá selekce tažena poptávkou politické sféry a jaký má poptávka případný dopad na samotný proces selekce. Zjednodušeně lze obsah projektu kondenzovat do zkoumání vztahu teorie - politika - veřejné mínění transformačních procesů.
