K tomu bude využívána jednak naše dosavadní metoda sledování změn odporů uvnitř aktivních hmot a odporu rozhraní mezi aktivní hmotou a kolektorem, jednak nově vyvíjená přímá metoda sledování mikrostrukturálních změn pomocí environmentálního rastrovacího elektronového mikroskopu (ESEM) in situ. The basic objective of the project is to obtain a new and reliable information about the whole complex of properties of porous electrodes under different conditions of exploitation. This information is necessary for the development of a new generation ofbatteries with higher use properties. In order to achieve the above objectives, two approaches were chosen - first our present method of the observation of changes of both resistances of active materials and of resistances of the interphase between the active material and the collector, and second, newly developed method of a direct in situ observation of microstructural changes by means of the environmental scanning electron mícroscope (ESEM).
