Cílem projektu je experimentální a numerické studium složitého prostorového proudu s odtržením v kanálech oběžného kola s dopředu zahnutými lopatkami odstředivého stupně. Na tomto základě budou navrženy úpravy tvarů kanálů vedoucí k vyšší účinností strojů . (cs)
Project deals with an experimental and numerical study of complex 3D flow with separation in the impeller and spiral casing of forward curved blade centrifugal stage. Two basic configurations of the impeller for squirrel cage and high pressure centrifugal fans will be investigated. Experimental research of flow fields will be carried out on two test rigs by means of pneumatic 5-hole conical probes and hot wire and laser anemometers. The main aim of submitted project is also the design of new shapes of impeller blades . These measures should lead to fans with higher efficiency and pressure increase in comparison with present machines. In design proces flow simulation data with optimization method will be used. The commercial codes will be applied. In the solution the use of passive flow control in the impeller by means of splitter blades of high pressure fan is considered. Active flow control consists in injection of pulsating flow in regions with flow separation in order to increase efficiency and working range of centrifugal fan. Selected design measures in fan construction will be experimentally verified. (en)
