Description	Předkládaná práce řeší zásadní otázky metody orální historie v soudobých dějinách. Na základě širokého spektra domácí i zahraniční odborné literatury k problematice orální historie a dvou rozsáhlých výzkumných projektů, v jejichž rámci autor shromáždil a zpracoval cca 200 rozhovorů s významnými a zajímavými účastníky historických událostí posledních desetiletí, zkoumá možnosti využití orální historie v praxi i možnosti a limity jejího dalšího rozvoje zejména v oblasti analýzy a interpretace rozhovorů. (cs) This work addresses fundamental questions surrounding oral history methods in contemporary history. The author explores both the practical use of oral history and the limits of its development in the areas of analysis and interpretations of interviews on the basis of a wide spectrum of Czech and foreign specialist literature as well as two extensive research projects, in which he collected and analyzed approximately two hundred interviews involving significant and interesting participants in the historical events of recent decades.
