| Description
| - Recent results of stochastic mechanic render possible the direct solution to the response of deformable systems to random loadings like wind, industrial seismicity and earthquakes. The project will try to gather strong ground motion records of important earthquakes, to analyse them, to assess the conversion of accelerations to velocities or displacements and to describe them as non-stationar processes random in time and space. Similarly will be processed other random loadings given in the literature. The characteristic parameters of these signals will be classified from the point of view of their applicability as input data for the solution to the response of structures using the methods of stochastic mechanics, i.e. for the direct solution of probabilistic parameters of the response, and as input parameters for the numerical simulation of the excitations in question. - Aplikace moderních poznatků stochastické mechaniky dává možnost přímého řešení odezvy systémů na náhodná zatížení jako vítr, průmyslové a dopravní otřesy a především zemětřesení. V rámci projektu chceme m.j. shromáždit a analyzovat dostupné záznamy silných seismických vln, posoudit možnosti a výhody transformace akcellerogramů na záznamy rychlosti a posunutí a popsat je jako procesy náhodné v čase i prostoru (typy nestacionarit, frekvenční obsah a případné další parametry). Podobně na základě údajůz literatury popsat i vítr a jiná náhodná zatížení. Vybrané charakteristiky posoudit z hlediska vhodnosti jejich použití jako vstupů pro řešení odezvy mechanických soustav metodami stochastické mechaniky, t.j. pro přímé stanovení pravděpodobnostních parametrů odezvy, a dále jako vstupních parametrů pro numerickou simulaci uvedených budících procesů.
