The aim is to study origin, development and mutual interaction of instabilities in flowing fluids - and the corresponding coherent structures - having helical character and chirality (left- or right-handedness). They exhibit unique and seemingly paradoxical property: spectral transport towards large scales. This is the primary cause of the catastrophic planetary-scale flows: hurricanes (like Kathrin 2005) and tornadoes. Essential for the growth towards the extreme scales is existence of enthalpy gradient. Proposed experimental program plans to use an existing generator of highly heated gas jet (enthalpic gradient due to temperature difference) and adapting an existing rig so as to generate large humidity gradient with azimuthal acoustic excitation in an air jet. Methods of detecting the structures from visualization data and data e.g. on the heat flux are proposed, which should make possible to follow the processes of merging and growth as the basis of the spectral transport mechanism. Navrhovaný experimentální program sleduje dva směry: využití existujícího generátoru proudu vysoce ohřátého plynu (entalpický gradient vyvolán teplotním rozdílem) a úprava existujícího zařízení (entalpický gradient způsoben rozdíly vlhkosti) pro azimutální akustickou excitaci. (cs)
