Navrhovaný projekt předpokládá výzkum chování moderních vícefázových ocelí při monotónním a cyklickém zatěžování. Dva typy materiálu, duplexní austeniticko-feritická ocel a TRIP ocel, jsou navrženy k podrobnému zkoumání. Experimentální výsledky konvenčních mechanických testů budou srovnávány s výsledky neutronové difrakce. Neutronový difrakční experiment, který bude prováděn in situ během zatěžování materiálu, poskytuje nové a cenné informace o vývoji vnitřních napětí v jednotlivých fázích během jednotlivého deformačního cyklu a i během cyklování. Kromě toho, změny hustoty dislokací budou vyhodnocovány z rozšíření neutronových difrakčních profilů a srovnávány s TEM pozorováním. Kombinace výsledků zmíněných experimentálních metod by měla přinést komplexní informaci o vztahu vnitřních napětí jednotlivých fází s dislokační substrukturou a s celkovým mechanickým napětím a měla by pomoci s interpretací deformačních a únavových mechanismů obou druhů zkoumaných materiálů. The behaviour of advanced multiphase steels during unidirectional and cyclic loading will be examined. Two materials are supposed to be studied in detail, a duplex austenitic-ferritic steel and TRIP steel. The experimental results of convention mechanical testing will be combined with neutron diffraction studies. The neutron diffraction experiment performed in situ upon material loading will provide an evolution of internal stresses in constituent phases during individual deformation cycle and during cycling as well. Moreover, the changes in dislocation densities will be deduced from broadening of diffraction profiles and compared with TEM results. Combination of results of the above mentioned techniques would yield complex information on relation between total mechanical stress and the distribution of internal stresses and evolution of the dislocation substructure in individual constituent phases. It would help to interpret the deformation and fatigue mechanism in both advanced steels (en)
