The aim of this study is to systematically quantify the physical, chemical and microstructural properties of solidified/stabilised industrial wastes. The solidification/stabilisation of sludge for the purpose of minimizing the geoenvironmental impact caused by toxic heavy metals as well as ensuring engineering safety will be experimentaly evaluated. The solidified/stabilised mixtures will be used for physical, chemical and microstructural tests after various time of curing. Various extraction tests will be reported as chemical characteristics. The physicochemical characteristics of the surfaces of solidified sludge will be examined using optical microscopy, SEM and EDAX techniques. Mineralogical properties were analysed by XRD. Mixtures will be chosen on the basis of an experimental results in which stabilisation is effective enough and the physical and microstructural properties will be considered to be good enough to be used in some geotechnical applications, such as filling and reclamations. Cílem navrhovaného projektu bude studium geochemických, fyzikálních a fázových vlastností vybraných solidifikovaných/stabilizovaných průmyslových odpadů s ohledem na jejich využití jako druhotných surovin pro výrobu rekultivačně sanačních a výplňových hmot pro sanaci důsledků báňské činnosti.
