| Description
| - Trifolium pratense is high yielded as well as high quality fodder crop. However, it shows lower persistency, which could be overcome by hybridisation with a species creating rhizomes. Hybrids between T. pratense and T. medium háve been previously obtained by embryo rescue and the number of chromosomes was evaluated by flow cytometry. This work was aimed at the evaluation of twelve morphological traits (stem weight/length, internodes numbers, length/width of a centrál leaflet of the triple leaf under the top head, length/ width of the centrál leaflet of the triple leaf on the 4th internodes, stem ťhickness on the 4th internodes, stem and head number per plants, intensity of white marks and average leaf area) in ten populations (550 plants) derived from FI hybrids and in the parental species. The significance of morphological differences was determined by ANOVA test. Nearly all examined traits were intermediate in hybrids; they reached higher values than in T. medium and lower values than in T. pratense

- Trifolium pratense L. je pícnina s vysokými výnosy i kvalitou píce. Vykazuje však nižší vytrvalost, která by mohla být překonána hybridizací s druhy, které tvoří rhizomy. U hybridů mezi T. pratense and T. medium , které byly získány metodou dopěstování nezralých embryí pomocí explantátových kultur ve VÚP Troubsko byl průtokovou cytometrií změřen počet chromozomů. Cílem této studie bylo vyhodnotit třináct morfologických znaků (délka a váha lodyhy, počet internodií, délka a šířka středního lístku v trojlístku pod květenstvím, délka a šířka středního lístku v trojlístku na 4. internodiu, tloušťka lodyhy na 4. internodiu, váha suché píce rostliny, počet lodyh a hlávek na rostlinu, intenzita listové skvrny a průměrná listová plocha jednoho trojlístku) u deseti polpulací (550 rostlin) odvozených od F1 hybridů a u rodičovských druhů. Významnost rozdílů morfologických znaků byla vyhodnocena ANOVA testem. Téměř všechny analyzované znaky byly u hybridů intermediální; dosahovaly vyšších hodnot než T. medium a (cs)
